The road trip has officially begun. After making our decision to rent a car and drive the 700 miles South to Atlanta, Dear BF and I are speeding down I-75.
Despite our best intentions to get this party started, we had to wait for our hastily reserves car rent to be ready. No matter, the wait gave us a moment to catch our breaths and come to grips with our decision. We made last minute trips to the restrooms, called family to update them, changed into more road trip appropriate attire…and continued to wait. Apparently reserving the cheapest option online ensures your place at the back of the rental line. Luckily my impatience got the better of me and we walked up to another rental counter and secured a better deal. Our trusty steed is now delivering us safely home in a more timely manner than our original plan – more proof that it never hurts to ask questions.
We have just crossed into Ohio, so we are well on our way!
